Mishita Mehra
I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at Grinnell College, Iowa, and am on research leave in the 2022-23 academic year. My research interests are in macroeconomics, international economics, and labor. My recent research focuses on studying the distortions due to current US skilled immigration policies and the impact of skilled immigration policy changes on offshoring and on welfare of domestic households. I am particularly interested in identifying creative questions related to factor movements and using theoretical macroeconomic tools as well as micro data to study them.
I will be joining the University of Richmond as an Assistant Professor in Economics in Fall 2023.
