I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Richmond with research interests in macroeconomics, international economics, and labor. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at Grinnell College, Iowa. My recent research focuses on studying the distortions due to current US skilled immigration policies, the impact of alternate skilled immigration policies on productivity and welfare, and the interaction between skilled immigration policy changes and trade policies. I am particularly interested in identifying creative questions related to factor movements and using theoretical macroeconomic tools as well as micro data to study them.
